Chaco-Corrientes toll rates to increase in October

New toll pricing will take effect in October for the Chaco-Corrientes corridor, including the General Belgrano Bridge. Under the new concession scheme, drivers using the TelePase automatic payment system will pay approximately $1,800 per passage for light vehicles.

Drivers without TelePase will face a 50% surcharge for manual payments at the booth, bringing the cost to roughly $2,700. The measure aims to reduce manual collections and encourage the use of electronic payment methods. The new concessionaire, consisting of JCR and Néstor Guerreched, will begin operations in the first week of October, managing maintenance and conservation of the assigned corridors.

Authorities recommend that users register for TelePase during September to avoid the surcharge. Registration is free and can be completed online by linking a vehicle's license plate to a digital payment method. Once registered, the electronic TAG or sticker must be placed on the vehicle's windshield.
