Chaco goat production expands to Dubai markets

Goat production from the El Sauzalito region in Chaco, Argentina, is expanding into international markets, with a fifth container of goats scheduled for shipment to Dubai and other Asian markets. Governor Leandro Zdero announced that the reactivation of the Pampa del Infierno slaughterhouse has been a key factor in enabling this international commercialization, providing new income and employment opportunities for local producers.

In addition to export developments, the provincial government announced renovation works for the Productive Development Center (CEDEPRO) in El Sauzalito. The project aims to restore the facility to provide technical support, training, and advisory services to producers. Other initiatives mentioned include the allocation of state lands and benefits through the Ñandé program to support economic development in the El Impenetrable region.
