Chaco Government and La Escondida sign cadastral exchange agreement
The Chaco provincial government and the municipality of La Escondida have signed a framework agreement for collaboration and the exchange of cadastral information. The agreement aims to modernize the municipal parcel administration system through the coordinated use of the provincial digital platform, GeoSIT.
GeoSIT is an intelligent cadastral management system that allows for the real-time administration of parcel, cartographic, and legal information regarding provincial properties. The platform features interactive digitized maps, direct data integration between the cadastre, the Real Estate Property Registry, tax agencies, and the municipality, and digital processing for authorized professionals such as surveyors and lawyers.
Chaco Minister of Government, Justice, Labor, and Human Rights, Carim Peche, and the Mayor of La Escondida, Carlos Alfredo Caballero, formalized the pact. The initiative is expected to provide the municipality with strategic tools for more efficient decision-making regarding economic development, fiscal matters, and urban planning.
