Argentina provinces declare administrative holidays for All Souls Day
Several Argentine provinces have decreed administrative and school holidays for Monday, November 2, to observe All Souls Day.
In Tucumán, Governor Osvaldo Jaldo issued a decree covering provincial administration, rural communes, and Ministry of Education schools. While most offices will close, hospitals and child care facilities must maintain essential services through on-call shifts.
In Chaco, Governor Leandro Zdero signed a similar decree for provincial administration, teachers, and decentralized organisms, inviting municipalities and the private sector to join the observance.
In Formosa, the Nutrir food program announced that its distribution centers will be closed on November 2, with deliveries scheduled to resume on Tuesday, November 3.
In Corrientes, municipal services will follow a modified schedule. While waste collection and certain tax offices will operate normally, cemeteries and specific administrative offices will provide limited services or operate on special shifts to accommodate the holiday.
