Chaco government strengthens rural security through police infrastructure

The Chaco provincial government is implementing a plan to strengthen rural security through the renovation of police stations, the addition of new vehicles, technology, and increased personnel. Security Minister Hugo Matkovich recently inspected the comprehensive renovation works at the Colonia El Tacuarí Rural Detachment, which is nearing inauguration by Governor Leandro Zdero.

The improvements at Colonia El Tacuarí include the provision of a 4x4 vehicle and satellite connectivity to enhance operational capacity in areas where distance and terrain demand constant presence and communication. This project is part of a broader provincial initiative to recover rural police infrastructure, which previously included the renovation of the Colonia Alcalá Rural Detachment in Presidencia Roca and the habilitation of the Pampa 11 station in the Tres Isletas area.
