Chaco implements pilot diagnostic evaluations for students

The Ministry of Education of Chaco has launched a pilot Integral Diagnostic Evaluation for 7th-grade students. The initiative aims to assess fundamental competencies in Language and Mathematics across 13 selected schools representing diverse institutional contexts. This pilot phase allows authorities to test and adjust instruments, procedures, and logistics before a full-scale implementation.

In a related effort to strengthen learning, the province also analyzed results from the first Census of Reading Fluency and Comprehension and diagnostic evaluations for 2nd-year secondary students. These assessments, conducted as part of the Jurisdictional Literacy Plan, provide data to guide pedagogical strategies and educational management. Officials emphasized that these tools are intended to transform evidence into actionable decisions to support student progress.
