Chaco Legislature honors local companies for regional development

The Chaco Legislature held a ceremony to recognize various companies and industries across the province for their career longevity and contribution to regional productive, economic, and social development. The initiative, led by Deputy Katia Blanc, president of the Commission of Industry, Commerce, Consumer Defense, Transport, and Communications, honored businesses that have maintained employment and invested in the province despite adverse economic conditions.

The recognition highlighted the industrial history of Chaco, noting the historical importance of tannin exploitation, the cotton cycle, the railway network, and the port of Barranqueras. Honorees included businesses from several localities, such as Frioboart S.R.L. in Barranqueras, Almacén del Camino de Mateo Medina e Hijos in Colonia Elisa, and various firms from Juan José Castelli, Villa Ángela, and Resistencia.
