Chaco Ministry of Education launches library innovation program
The Ministry of Education has launched a training program focused on innovation and the strengthening of services at the ‘Profesor Leopoldo Herrera’ Central Popular Public Library in Chaco. The initiative aims to optimize the institution's operations and solidify its role as a central hub for the Chaco Library System, which comprises 509 libraries.
Led by the Directorate of Library Services, the program seeks to enhance technical processes, integrate digital innovations, and improve user services. The training involves 35 personnel and includes in-person sessions and digital activities via the ELE platform. This project is part of a progressive implementation plan: 2026 will focus on central libraries, 2027 on public libraries, and subsequent years will aim to include school libraries.
