Chaco Ministry of Health warns of vaccination appointment scams
The Ministry of Health of Chaco has issued an alert regarding telephone scams targeting local citizens. Fraudsters are impersonating representatives from Hospital Perrando to offer fake vaccination appointments in an attempt to steal personal information and access bank accounts.
Health authorities clarified that they do not make phone calls to offer vaccination appointments. They reminded the public that vaccines included in the National Vaccination Calendar are free, mandatory, and do not require prior appointments. Doses remain available at health centers, vaccination sites, and hospitals throughout the province.
Citizens are advised to avoid sharing personal data, passwords, verification codes, or banking information during suspicious calls. In the event of such contact, officials recommend hanging up immediately, saving the caller's number, and filing a formal report.
