Chaco technical students prepare for Desafío Eco electric vehicle competition

Students and teachers from the Escuela de Educación Técnica N° 22 “Gaspar Cabral” in Sáenz Peña are preparing to represent the Chaco province in the Desafío Eco. This national competition for zero-emission electric vehicles, designed by technical school students, will take place from November 6 to 8 in Junín, Buenos Aires province.

The team, which includes students specializing in Mechanics and Electricity with assistance from Carpentry, secured a scholarship from the Automóvil Club Argentino (ACA) after presenting a successful audiovisual project. Currently, the group is performing technical adjustments to the prototype's chassis and aerodynamics to meet official regulations, conducting road tests near the local airport.

While the local municipality is providing logistical support for transportation, the teaching staff is actively seeking sponsors and economic collaborators to cover accommodation and stay expenses for the delegation.
