Chaco to host national accounting congress and Mercosur-EU business round

The Chaco province in Argentina will host the 39th National Congress of General Accounting Offices of the Argentine Republic. Held at the Gala Convention Center in Resistencia, the event focuses on “Innovation and transformation: new paradigms towards the future of public management.” The congress will bring together general accountants, financial administration professionals, and technical teams from various jurisdictions to discuss government accounting, state procurement, internal control optimization, and the application of artificial intelligence in public financial administration.

Additionally, the Resistencia Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Foreign Trade, and the Economic Federation of Chaco (Fechaco) have announced a regional and international Mercosur-European Union business round. Scheduled for the 29th at the Chaco Government House, the event aims to facilitate commercial encounters between companies and explore new markets. The initiative seeks to connect local businesses and entrepreneurs with potential buyers and sellers, leveraging the commercial opportunities arising from the relationship between Mercosur and the European Union. Participation from neighboring countries, such as Paraguay, is also expected.
