Chad Anheliger adopts new training approach for UFC Edmonton return
Canadian bantamweight Chad Anheliger has adopted a new training methodology ahead of his UFC Edmonton bout against Steven Koslow on October 17. Following a period of sideline time and the recent birth of his child, Anheliger has shifted away from his previous tendency to overtrain, which had previously led to injuries.
Anheliger reported that knowing his child’s due date allowed him to begin his conditioning earlier, facilitating a different style of athletic peaking. His current approach focuses on balancing professional responsibilities, such as running his gym, with family life by utilizing flexible training sessions. Both fighters weighed in at 135 pounds for the preliminary-card matchup scheduled at Rogers Place.
