Chad Finchum to make NASCAR Cup Series debut at Darlington

Driver Chad Finchum is set to make his first NASCAR Cup Series start at Darlington Raceway during the Cook Out Southern 500 on September 6. Finchum, a 31-year-old from Knoxville, Tennessee, will drive the No. 66 AutoParts.com/Truan Equipment Rental Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Garage 66.

While this marks his first Cup Series appearance at the track, Finchum has significant experience at Darlington from driving in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, including a top 20 finish in 2020. Finchum described the Southern 500 as a “bucket-list event” and expressed confidence in his performance at the venue.
