Chad Gable defends Intercontinental Title at WWE Raw in Mexico City

During the first WWE Raw held in Mexico City in 15 years, Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable defended his title against Dragon Lee. The match was noted as one of the high points of the broadcast.

Following the event, Gable expressed appreciation for Mexican culture and the local audience, describing the fans as some of the most welcoming and forgiving people he has encountered. Gable previously competed in Mexico as El Grande Americano, a character that led to his championship journey.

Despite a strong performance in the title match, Dragon Lee suffered another defeat. Observers noted that while Lee continues to deliver high-quality matches against top talent like Gunther and Gable, he has struggled to secure career-defining victories within the current WWE creative direction.
