WWE Raw: Roman Reigns returns and Chad Gable retains title
During the October 19 episode of WWE Raw in San Diego, Roman Reigns made a return to the ring, leading to a tense confrontation with Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn. While the interaction initially appeared friendly, the two clashed over their respective championships and the pressures of leadership, building anticipation for their upcoming match at Crown Jewel.
In championship action, Chad Gable successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat match against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. However, the celebration was cut short when Ethan Page and Big Cass launched a brutal post-match assault on all three competitors. Page specifically targeted Gable with a Fisherman’s Buster and brandished the championship belt.
Other notable results included Penta defeating Bron Breakker and Chelsea Green and IYO SKY securing a victory over the Judgment Day duo of Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. JD McDonagh also earned a win over Joe Hendry, while Lola Vice defeated Lyra Valkyria.
