Chad launches cultural initiatives to promote youth talent and peace

Chad has launched two major cultural initiatives aimed at empowering youth and fostering national unity. In Bakara, the association ‘Au Nom de l’Art’ introduced ‘La Rentrée artistique,’ an initiative led by artist Mawndoe Célestin. The program provides workshops and open stages to help young people discover artistic disciplines, build self-confidence, and participate in the national cultural life.

Simultaneously, the 6th edition of the Festival culturel des talents des artistes tchadiens (FECTAT) opened in Abéché. Under the theme ‘Sacred union of security for living together and peace,’ the festival brings together young artists from various provinces. The event aims to use art as a tool for dialogue, social cohesion, and peaceful coexistence between different communities across the country.
