Chad political parties mark major anniversaries

Political parties in Chad marked significant anniversaries on September 11. The Union des Démocrates pour le Développement (UDD) celebrated its fifth year since its founding in 2021. National President Dikbo Hubert highlighted the party’s local political presence, including the election of a municipal councilor in Pala, and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to constitutional principles, social justice, and fighting bad governance.

Hubert called on the government to prioritize job creation, professional training, and agricultural development. He also urged Chadian youth to embrace civic responsibility and avoid identity-based politics and hate speech.

In Sarh, the Moyen-Chari sub-federation of the RNDT-Le Réveil party commemorated 30 years of existence. Party leaders, including Djianal Houralbaye, used the occasion to reflect on the party’s history since 1996 and discussed strategies for future growth. The sub-federation aims to strengthen party cohesion and expand its presence across all six departments of the province to participate more actively in national debates.
