Chad Powers season 2 premieres Sep 3 on Disney+

Hulu announced that the comedy series Chad Powers will return for a second season on September 3. All six episodes will be released simultaneously on Disney+ (and Hulu for bundle subscribers) in the United States, Canada, Australia and other markets.

First‑look images show Glen Powell reprising his dual role as quarterback Russ Holliday and his alter‑ego Chad Powers, alongside Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie Rodriguez and Steve Zahn. The series, co‑created by Powell and Michael Waldron, is based on the ESPN “Eli’s Places” sketch and follows Holliday’s attempt to hide his past by adopting a fake identity while playing for the South Georgia Catfish.

Executive producers for season 2 include former NFL quarterback Eli Manning, his brother Peyton Manning (Omaha Productions), and a team of ESPN and Anomaly Pictures producers. The new season continues the show’s blend of sports‑comedy and off‑field hijinks as the characters race toward the College Football Playoff.
