Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov speaks at the White House

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov recently spoke at a White House technology leaders event, where he discussed how U.S. regulatory developments, such as the GENIUS Act, are facilitating the broader adoption of stablecoins. Nazarov noted that the increasing use of U.S. government debt in stablecoin reserves benefits the adoption of dollar-backed digital assets and expects tokenized stocks to follow a similar trajectory.

In related infrastructure news, Ethereum firm Nethermind has announced it will join Chainlink as a node operator to help secure Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Data Feeds. Following these developments and the White House appearance, the native LINK token saw a price increase, rising above $10.60 before entering a period of consolidation.
