Chainlink expands oracle network with 19 new integrations
Chainlink has announced 19 new integrations across five of its services and seven different blockchains. This expansion continues the network's growth in providing decentralized oracle services, which bridge the gap between blockchains and external data.
Key services involved include Data Feeds and Data Streams, which deliver external information to on-chain applications, and the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), which enables the movement of tokens and messages between separate blockchains. As of the third quarter of 2026, CCIP had facilitated more than $15 billion in transferred token value.
Founded by Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis, Chainlink originated from a 2017 token sale intended to fund a decentralized oracle network. The network aims to solve the ‘oracle problem’—the inability of blockchains to access off-chain data—by using a group of independent node operators to prevent single points of failure.
