Chainlink hits 900,000 wallets and price climbs after Mantle migrates Super Portal to CCIP

The number of non‑empty Chainlink (LINK) wallets on Ethereum surpassed 900,000, a new all‑time high, with more than 20,000 new holders added in the past month despite a broadly subdued alt‑coin market.

At the same time, LINK’s price rose 5.74% to $8.41, and trading volume jumped 56% to $312 million. The rally was sparked by Mantle’s announcement that it will move its $2.5 billion Super Portal from LayerZero to Chainlink’s Cross‑Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), a move described as a validation of Chainlink’s security and utility. Since May, roughly $7.2 billion of value has been transferred to CCIP, and other protocols such as Aave have also chosen CCIP as their standard. The price advance occurred alongside a modestly softer U.S. June CPI reading, which lifted overall crypto sentiment.
