Chainlink launches 24/7 pricing service for tokenized assets

Chainlink has launched Chainlink 24/7, a new service providing continuous price feeds for tokenized real-world assets (RWA), including equities and commodities. Announced at the Link:NYC conference on October 29, the service enables market data delivery during weekends and holidays, addressing the pricing gap between traditional finance settlement windows and always-on blockchain markets.

Aave has announced it will be an early adopter of the service through its Horizon institutional lending platform. The integration will allow for round-the-clock pricing of collateral used in institutional lending, which helps mitigate solvency risks that occur when traditional markets are closed.

In a separate strategic development, Hanwha Investment & Securities has partnered with Chainlink to develop a global tokenization platform. The collaboration will utilize Chainlink’s data standards and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to facilitate asset transferability and liquidity across public and private blockchains.

These developments coincided with a significant rise in the price of the LINK token, supported by a protocol buyback of approximately 92,800 LINK, valued at roughly $1.07 million.
