Chainlink wallet count surges past 892,800 as LINK price stays near $7.30
Data from analytics firm Santiment shows Chainlink’s total non‑empty wallets reached 892,800, with more than 8,000 new holders added in a five‑day span and over 6,100 new addresses created in the latest 48 hours. The rapid growth is described as "parabolic" and could push the network past 900,000 wallets before the week’s end and possibly toward one million by the end of summer if the pace continues.
Despite the user‑base expansion, LINK’s market price has lingered around $7.30, roughly 20% below its three‑month peak and near recent lows. Analysts note the disconnect between adoption metrics and price, suggesting the token could become attractive if demand catches up. Institutional activity underpins the growth: Project Pangea, DTCC’s collateral app‑chain, tokenized real‑world asset projects, and a 24‑hour weekday equity data service are all cited as drivers. Chainlink also repurchased $15 million of LINK in the past 90 days, held 4.5 million LINK in reserves, and saw its SVR feeds generate $12.4 million in 2026. Its Cross‑Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) now exceeds Wormhole in transfer volume across more than 70 networks.
