Chainsaw Man Reze-hen celebrates Prime Video release with Shinjuku exhibition

To celebrate the Prime Video exclusive streaming launch of the film ‘Chainsaw Man Reze-hen’ on September 19, 2026, a series of promotional events are being held in Japan.

Voice actor Natsuki Hanae, who voices the character Beam, released a special video on September 20 titled ‘How to Enjoy the Movie at Home.’ The video offers four suggestions for viewers to enhance their streaming experience, such as decorating their rooms or watching scenes repeatedly.

From September 21 to September 27, a large-scale exhibition will take place at the Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade. The display features a retro video rental shop theme, highlighting the film’s reputation among fans as an ‘ultimate shark movie.’ The exhibit includes special shark-movie-style posters, 3D panels, and two unique designs of VHS cases for ‘Chainsaw Man Reze-hen’ alongside 30 other shark films. The installation also features life-sized character illustrations and new visuals created specifically for the Prime Video release.
