Chair Airlines flight from Zurich to Prishtina delayed by technical defect

A Chair Airlines flight from Zurich to Prishtina experienced significant delays during the autumn holiday season, causing distress for passengers, including families with children. Passengers reported waiting at the gate for hours without receiving clear information regarding the cause of the delay or a revised departure time.

Chair Airlines spokesperson Nicolas Bühler stated that the delay was caused by a technical defect with the originally scheduled aircraft, which necessitated the procurement of a replacement plane. The company noted that the new flight was only able to depart in the evening. While the airline expressed regret for the inconvenience and provided food and drink vouchers to passengers, it denied claims that travelers were not being informed, emphasizing that passenger safety remains the top priority.
