Chaka Khan releases new funk album ‘Chakzilla’

American singer Chaka Khan has released her thirteenth studio album, titled ‘Chakzilla’. This release comes seven years after her previous original work, ‘Hello Happiness’.

The new album features a blend of funk, soul, R&B, and pop. It includes several high-profile collaborations, such as Snoop Dogg on ‘Boogie’s in My Soul’, Lenny Kravitz on ‘Bring the Party’, and Sia on ‘Cool U Down’, who also co-wrote the title track.

This musical milestone follows significant career recognitions for the artist, including her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023 and receiving a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2026.
