Chalair awarded regular flight routes for Andorra-la Seu Airport

The French company Chalair has been awarded the contract to operate regular flight lines from Andorra-la Seu d'Urgell Airport. The new service expands the airport's connectivity by adding destinations including Paris, Nantes, Nice, and Lyon, alongside existing routes to Madrid and Palma.

To ensure service reliability, Chalair will station one ATR-42 aircraft permanently at the Andorra airport, with a backup aircraft located within two hours to mitigate technical incidents. The contract includes two weekly flights to Paris throughout the year. The government's financial contribution for this service is capped at five million euros annually. The expansion aims to strengthen links with the French market and improve the airport's strategic viability and regional accessibility.
