Chalet Cantoni launches series of art workshops in San Juan

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the San Juan provincial government organized a set of art workshops at Chalet Cantoni starting on 3 August. The program runs through August and September and includes a Oil Painting workshop on Mondays, a Watercolor and Botanical Embroidery workshop called “Flora Entretejida” on Tuesdays, an intensive textile‑bookmaking workshop “Memoria y deseo” on Wednesdays, and a Japanese Traditional Painting workshop under the Arte por la Paz initiative.

Fees range from AR$40,000 to AR$65,000 per month, with some courses offering material costs included. Registration is handled online via provided Google Forms or by phone.

The workshops aim to teach fundamentals such as colour theory, composition, and specific techniques while encouraging participants to develop their own artistic language in a collaborative environment.
