Challans hosts Vendée Globe history exhibition at Foire des Minées

An exhibition dedicated to the history of the Vendée Globe is currently hosted at the Foire des Minées in Challans. Held in Hall 5, the display is organized with the support of the Vendée Department and SAEM Vendée Globe.

The exhibition traces the history of the famous offshore race, highlighting past winners, skippers, and vessels through visual documents, posters, and commemorative totems. Visitors can view an Imoca monohull model and access videos from the most recent Vendée Globe, as well as footage from related events like the Vendée Arctique and the New York Vendée Les Sables.

The exhibition is scheduled to remain open to the public until Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
