Chalus Road and Tehran-North Freeway restricted to one-way traffic

Traffic authorities have implemented one-way restrictions on the Chalus Road and the Tehran-North Freeway due to heavy congestion. Starting at 16:30, all vehicle movement from south to north—traveling from Tehran and Karaj toward Marzanabad—is prohibited.

Traffic is being managed in a single direction from north to south toward Tehran and Karaj until the traffic load is cleared. While other northern routes such as Haraz, Firuzkuh, and the Qazvin-Rasht Freeway remain flowing, heavy traffic is reported on the Pardis-Tehran Freeway and the Qazvin-Karaj Freeway.

Weather conditions include rain and fog in the higher elevations of the Haraz and Chalus routes. Rain has also been reported across parts of Tehran, Alborz, Mazandaran, and Gilan provinces.
