Cham Muslims from An Giang celebrate Raya Aidil Fitri

Cham Muslims from An Giang province participated in a re-enactment of Raya Aidil Fitri, also known as Eid al-Fitr, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi. The festival marks the conclusion of Ramadan, a month of fasting and strict religious observance.

The celebration emphasizes values such as forgiveness, family reunions, gratitude, and community solidarity. During the event, participants engaged in traditional rites, including prayers led by religious dignitaries and the sharing of traditional dishes. The festivities serve as a means for different generations to preserve and transmit their cultural heritage, faith, and ancestral traditions while promoting cultural diversity within Vietnam.
