Chamber of Commerce of Lima proposes urgent logistics infrastructure protection
The Chamber of Commerce of Lima (CCL) is proposing an Urgent Decree to prioritize maintenance and protection of Peru's national logistics infrastructure. The initiative aims to ensure operational continuity during potential climate emergencies.
The proposal requests that the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and the National Port Authority (APN) execute priority preventive maintenance, cleaning, and protection of access points at major port terminals, including Callao, Paita, and Chancay. It also targets the maintenance of northern coastal road corridors and airport infrastructure to prevent disruptions in the transport of passengers and goods.
