Chamber of Deputies sets 35% quota for upcoming recruitment

The Brazilian Chamber of Deputies has established new guidelines for its upcoming civil service examinations through Ordinance No. 190/2026. The regulation mandates that 35% of available positions be reserved for quota candidates.

The breakdown of these reserved positions includes 25% for Black and mixed-race individuals, 5% for people with disabilities, 3% for Indigenous people, and 2% for Quilombola communities. The ordinance also details the specific order in which these vacancies will be filled to ensure alternating and proportional distribution among candidates.
