Chamber of Food Engineers calls for dairy product investigation

Beste Oymen, President of the Chamber of Food Engineers (GMO), has called for a formal investigation into recent public complaints regarding dairy products. Oymen emphasized that food irregularities may not be limited to the production stage alone, noting that the entire process—from raw materials and packaging to transportation, storage, and the maintenance of the cold chain—impacts product safety and quality.

Oymen urged authorities to conduct thorough inspections using batch and lot information to evaluate the production and distribution chains, as well as storage and sales conditions. She requested that the results of these investigations be shared transparently with the public to maintain consumer trust in local production.

Additionally, Oymen advised consumers to avoid tasting suspicious products and to refrain from consuming items with unusual texture, color, or odor. She recommended that consumers retain packaging, lot numbers, and expiration dates to assist official investigations.
