Chamecare secures 1 billion KRW investment from Yuhan Corporation
Digital healthcare company Chamecare has secured a 1 billion KRW strategic investment from Yuhan Corporation. The investment process was finalized in late September.
Chamecare specializes in wearable blood pressure measurement technology, including its wristband-type blood pressure monitor ‘H2-BP’ and the 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor ‘H2-ABPM’. The company aims to expand its supply of blood pressure measurement solutions to hospitals and clinics.
Through this partnership, Chamecare plans to leverage Yuhan Corporation’s medical sales network to expand into the 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring market. Potential areas of collaboration include smart wards, real-time inpatient monitoring, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and home healthcare.
Additionally, the company is working to commercialize next-generation ultra-small continuous blood pressure measurement technology. This technology utilizes a tonometric method to detect pressure waveforms in the radial artery, aiming to provide continuous data to overcome the limitations of intermittent measurement.
