Chamelio raises $26M to deploy AI agents for legal operations
Chamelio, an Israeli AI-native platform for in-house legal teams, has raised $26 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Entrée Capital, with participation from Bright Pixel Capital, Work-Bench, and Emerge Ventures.
The company aims to replace legacy contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems with agentic AI that can analyze and act on contracts rather than just storing them. Chamelio reports that its annual recurring revenue (ARR) has quadrupled since its seed round eight months ago. Its current client base includes companies such as Wiz, monday.com, Socure, AppsFlyer, and Wonderful.ai.
The funding will be used to develop Chamelio’s proprietary legal action model, expand its legal engineering and product teams, and invest in onboarding technology. The move comes as legal departments face budget constraints and staffing shortages, with reports indicating that only 32% of legal departments expect to increase attorney headcount.
