Champagne Basket wins preseason friendly against Berck

Champagne Basket began its summer preparations with an 81-79 victory over Berck, a Nationale 1 team, on August 26. The match served as an initial assessment for the coaching staff to identify areas for improvement in the coming weeks.

The team is scheduled for its next friendly match on August 29 against Denain at the Coubertin hall in Châlons-en-Champagne. Denain, coached by Thomas Andrieux, features 19-year-old Oscar Wembanyama. The two clubs are also set to face each other in the Coupe de France 64th finals on September 15 in Reims.
