Champion and International Breweries Report Strong H1 2026 Earnings

Champion Breweries Plc announced that group revenue reached N35.73 billion in the first half of 2026, with profit after tax of N2.65 billion. The company completed the acquisition of an 80 % stake in EnjoyBev B.V., raised additional capital to lift shareholders' equity to N69.08 billion and increased its free‑float to 25.72 %. Acting Managing Director Rasheed Adebiyi said the period marked a defining chapter, highlighting disciplined commercial execution and operational efficiency as drivers of growth.

International Breweries Plc reported a pre‑tax profit of N74.79 billion for H1 2026, a 21.55 % year‑on‑year increase, supported by lower cost of sales and higher finance income. Revenue grew marginally to N342.07 billion, while gross profit rose to N141.29 billion and gross margin improved to 41.3 %. Operating expenses increased, notably in advertising, promotion and distribution, but the overall cost efficiency helped lift earnings.
