Champion names BTS member V as face of ‘True Champion’ campaign

Champion has announced that V, a member of the South Korean group BTS, will serve as the leading face of its new global campaign, ‘True Champion’. The FW26 project aims to highlight individuality and the cultural influence of artists and athletes.

As part of the campaign, V will be featured alongside other notable figures including Romeo Beckham, Danna Paola, Kyle Kuzma, Sofi Tukker, Megan Keller, Bella Sims, and Jaalen Best. The visual direction for V focuses on relaxed, athletic, and collegiate styles, such as oversized jackets, rugby-inspired pieces, and retro sneakers.

Stefani Fleurant, executive VP of marketing, sport and lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group—which acquired Champion in 2024—stated that V is a ‘natural partner’ for the brand due to his creative vision and global influence. This partnership follows V’s previous work as a global ambassador for luxury brands like Cartier and Celine.
