Champions Burger festival kicks off in Bahía Sur with 21 entries

The Champions Burger gourmet burger competition opened on 28 May at the Bahía Sur shopping centre in San Fernando, Cádiz, Spain. More than 21 high‑end burger restaurants – six more than the previous edition – are competing for the title of "Best Burger in Spain". The free event runs until 7 June, turning the centre’s Parking Rosa into an outdoor gastronomic stadium where visitors can taste, vote via QR codes and enjoy live entertainment.

The festival is organised into themed zones, including a team area with 18 burger shops, an MVP zone highlighting standout entries, an extra‑point zone for sauces and sides, and a Sweet Touchdown zone offering desserts. Options for vegans and gluten‑free diners are also provided. Attendees act as jurors, rating each burger on bread, meat, ingredients, presentation and originality.
