Champions League and El Clásico fixtures highlighted for upcoming football week

Major European football fixtures are set for the week of October 21, 2026, headlined by a high-profile Champions League matchup between Bayern Munich and Arsenal at the Allianz Arena. Bayern Munich enters the match following a 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig, though they face roster challenges with Michael Olise suspended and Jamal Musiala recovering from injury.

Arsenal, the reigning English champions and previous season's Champions League runners-up, arrive with a 14-match winning streak in the competition's league phase. However, the Gunners will be without Saliba and Hincapié for the encounter.

In other notable news, Barcelona's 13-game winning streak was recently ended by a 4-2 loss to PSG. This loss comes as the team prepares for El Clásico against Real Madrid.
