ChamSys releases MediaMaster 26.0 and new VS media server series

ChamSys has released MediaMaster 26.0 Stable, featuring a fundamental overhaul of the software. The update introduces a redesigned user interface and a new project and workspace structure intended to simplify operations for both studio and touring environments.

Key technical enhancements include support for up to 48 layers of 4K-HDR media, blending and compositing functions, and integrated video and pixel-mapping capabilities. The software supports Art-Net and sACN for control, alongside third-party protocols CITP and NDI. Additionally, users can export their own GDTF-fixtures for integration into compatible lighting control systems.

Alongside the software release, ChamSys has begun production of the MediaMaster-VS series, a new line of dedicated media servers. The series includes the entry-level VS1+, featuring a 1-HE chassis and one 4K output, and the high-end VS4+, which provides four 4K video outputs.
