Chan Lok-ching reveals past sexual harassment by director

Former TVB actress and current influencer Chan Lok-ching has revealed that she was a victim of sexual harassment by a director during her early career. Sharing her experience on social media, Chan recounted an incident at a production wrap party where a male director touched her thigh and attempted to use casting opportunities to solicit sexual favors.

Chan stated that when she rejected the director's advances, he responded with verbal abuse and profanity. This incident led to her being effectively blacklisted from working on any productions directed by the individual. She noted that she later learned the director was eventually imprisoned due to unrelated legal matters.

After leaving TVB in 2014, Chan successfully transitioned into a full-time influencer and social media personality, gaining significant popularity through her appearance on the ViuTV reality show ‘Good Night Show’.
