Chan Yau discusses friendship with Cheung Yu-chen and Alan Tam

During a special radio program for New Century Radio, Chan Yau shared personal anecdotes regarding his close relationships with entertainer Cheung Yu-chen and singer Alan Tam.

Chan discussed his long-standing connection with Cheung Yu-chen’s family, noting that he previously visited Cheung in the hospital to provide homemade congee during a medical procedure for kidney stones. Chan also praised Cheung’s sincere and childlike personality, suggesting his character would suit acting roles that evoke audience sympathy.

Regarding Alan Tam, Chan revealed that the singer has been preparing rigorously for his upcoming September concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Tam has reportedly lost 12 pounds and aims to lose an additional 5 pounds to reach his fitness goals. Chan also mentioned that Tam had reserved 16 tickets for the final concert for him.
