Chance no Jikan hosts 11th Aiou Ketteisen after three-year hiatus

The variety program ‘Chance no Jikan’, hosted by the comedy duo Chidori, is airing its 11th ‘Aiou Ketteisen’ (Love King Championship) on ABEMA. This marks the first time the popular segment has been held in approximately three and a half years.

Studio guests include Satomi Shigemori, comedian Yuki Hirako of Arco & Peace, and Kazuyoshi Ozawa of Speed Wagon, who is returning following a two-year hiatus. The comedy duo Rainbow, consisting of Naoto Ikeda and Jumbo Takao, also participates for the first time. During the broadcast, Jumbo Takao revealed he has been in a serious relationship for three and a half years with a woman he met on a matchmaking program.

The segment features comedians providing philosophical or humorous advice to address modern relationship dilemmas, such as dealing with unrequited love or partners who are chronically late. Participants use various metaphors, ranging from martial arts and skincare to pop culture references, to offer their unique perspectives on love.
