Chancel Mbemba joins Saudi club Al-Diriyah

Democratic Republic of the Congo captain Chancel Mbemba signed a free‑transfer deal with newly promoted Saudi Pro League side Al‑Diriyah after his contract with Lille ended. The 31‑year‑old defender, who previously played for Anderlecht, Newcastle United, Porto, Marseille and Lille, arrived as the club’s sixth signing of the summer window.
