Chandigarh hosts Peace Walk at Sukna Lake for International Peace Day

A ‘Peace Walk’ was organized at Sukna Lake in Chandigarh to observe International Peace Day. The event featured the participation of deaf and mute children to promote social inclusion and spread a message of peace.

Chief Engineer CB Ojha noted that peace is a modern necessity and emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about inner peace. He highlighted that including deaf and mute children in such activities sends a positive message to society and helps prevent their marginalization, providing them with new energy and a sense of belonging.
