Chandigarh University partners with 247VC for quantum startups

Chandigarh University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 247VC Investment Trust to support quantum and deep-tech startups. The partnership aims to provide startups within the university’s CUBIC incubator—India’s first university-led quantum incubator—with access to seed and early-stage funding, strategic mentorship, and business development support.

The agreement was formalized during the PRAGATI Q-Foundry 2026 meeting in New Delhi, a national initiative of India’s Ministry of Science and Technology. This initiative is part of the National Quantum Mission (NQM), which seeks to accelerate the transition of quantum technologies from academic research to commercial validation and deployment.

Under the MoU, CUBIC will facilitate introductions between suitable startups and 247VC, subject to investor criteria. The collaboration will also include structured opportunities such as pitch sessions, demo days, and assistance in preparing business plans and pitch decks to improve investment readiness.
