Chandler Martin signs one-year deal with New York Giants

The New York Giants have signed linebacker Chandler Martin to a one-year deal. Martin, an undrafted free agent out of Memphis, previously played for the Baltimore Ravens under head coach John Harbaugh.

Martin is joining several former Ravens players currently on the Giants' roster, including Daniel Faalele, Patrick Ricard, Jordan Stout, Ar’Darius Washington, and Isaiah Likely. Martin is returning to professional play after being cleared from ACL surgery, an injury that ended his previous season with Baltimore during Week 13.

Following his time with the Ravens, Martin signed with the Philadelphia Eagles during the offseason but was waived on June 10. His signing in New Jersey provides depth for the Giants' special teams unit.
