Chandra Asri Group subsidiary obtains public terminal license

PT Chandra Pelabuhan Nusantara (CPN), a subsidiary of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk, has officially received a Business License for the Operation of a Public Terminal from Indonesia’s Directorate General of Sea Transportation. This license allows CPN to transition from a facility primarily supporting Chandra Asri Group’s internal operations to a public logistics infrastructure available to external industrial players.

Located in Cilegon with access to the Sunda Strait, CPN operates three berths with a combined capacity of up to 80,000 DWT. The facility includes an integrated tank farm consisting of 56 tanks with a total capacity of 501,606 m³. These assets are designed to handle various liquid chemical and refined petroleum products, including naphtha, LPG, propylene, ethylene, py-gas, raffinate-1, butadiene, and PFO.

According to CPN Director Edi Riva’i, the transformation aims to enhance national industrial connectivity and competitiveness by providing reliable and efficient logistics services to the broader industrial ecosystem in the Cilegon region and beyond.
